What technology do I need to take a course?

Our courses are designed and tested to work well on almost any device: desktop or laptop computer, tablet, or smartphone. Our courses all include audio, so your device needs working speakers and/or headphones. You need an internet connection -- the stronger the internet connection, the smoother the course playback experience will be.

How do I pay for a course?

We accept credit cards or PayPal. If you need to purchase a course for multiple people, please contact us directly so we can help with the process.

How long is the course?

Our Security Essentials Courses typically take about 6 hours to complete. The length of other courses is listed on each course description page.

How long do I have to complete a course?

You have six months from the date of purchase to complete the course.

What happens if I don't finish a course?

You can start and stop each course as many times as you want during the first six months. After six months, your access to the course will be closed.

What is the required passing score for the final exam?

80%.

Can I share my login with multiple people?

No. Each course is connected to your unique login, and will generate a certificate in your name only.

How many times can I attempt the final exam?

The exam for each course is programmed to allow three (3) attempts. If you do not get a passing score the first time, we recommend using the "review my results" feature to see which questions you got wrong, then studying those portions of the course before making your next attempt. If you fail 3 times, you will need to purchase the course again.

How do I download my certificate?

When you complete the course, you will be given access to a certificate via your "My Courses" page. You can print or download your certificate there. The certificate will only be available for the six months the course is available, so be sure to download and save it soon after completing a course!
