Great for those just starting out in the security profession or as a yearly refresher course for unarmed guards, this 6-hour interactive course teaches the critical fundamentals for security guard professionals including Iowa State Laws, Rules, and Regulations.

The state of Iowa does not require individual security guards to be licensed, but does license private security agencies. Per Iowa Administrative Code 661-121.5(80A), licensees and individual security guards must meet these minimum qualifications:
A licensed private security agency must register each employee with the state by completing an Identification Card Application, submitting current photographs of the employee, and two fingerprint cards for completing a background check. Each employee will receive an employee identification card.
